Dogs are particularly sensitive creatures that need to be handled with the utmost care if you are going to get the best out of them.Dog training is a guaranteed way of ensuring that you and your dog co exist in harmony. Without the proper training, your dog can be a constant source of frustration to you.

With the proper care, your friend can become a loyal companion. Part of taking care of your dog is taking your dog for monthly vet check ups and vaccination. A healthy dog is inevitably a happy dog.

A dog has self-esteem just as humans do and can get easily hurt. Shouting at your dog when it fails to obey your commands may damage its self-esteem and render it fearful and hesitant. The self-esteem of your dog should be enhanced during dog training and not destroyed.

You can communicate your desires to your dog using a mechanical clicker. A mechanical clicker is a dog training tool that is used to communicate certain commands to a dog. Dog training tools and their use varies from dog owner to dog owner.

Remote collar training is excellent for working dogs because they tend to get separated from their owners while in the line of duties. Dogs that go far to look for people or things in the course of training can be called back using an electronic collar. An electronic collar basically prevents a dog from going too far off from the home or from its owner.

Every phase of dog training has a tool that can prove effective. There are dog training tools for correction, reward and punishment. A dog can learn anything you want it to as long as you teach it well.

Dogs can be a handful and without proper training, they can be positively uncontrollable. Having a dog entails more than just feeding and bathing it. Dog training is one responsibility you owe to your dog.

You need to make sure that the environment that you choose to train your dog is conducive. You cannot hope to train your dog in an overcrowded park because the noise and people will distract it from what you are trying to teach it. To effectively train your dog, take it to a relatively quite spot.

It is imperative that you give your dog the best for its diet while it is pregnant and maintaining the supplements even after it is whelping. There is an assumption in dog owners that you should not ad vitamins or minerals to a dog unless it is sick or pregnant. That is not true. Your dog should always be supplied with nutrients for good health.

You should provide your pregnant dog with the sufficient supplements for its pregnancy. Being pregnant it should be receiving as much nutrition as its body needs to stay healthy. Why should you start preparing your dog for this nutrition even before it is pregnant? Dogs usually do not show signs if being pregnant until the pregnancy is about 5 weeks or so. By starting it on supplements a standard practice, you would be making sure that your pet is receiving enough nutrients while it is pregnant, although you do not realize that yet. During these 4-5 weeks, the nutrients will provide good nutrition to the unborn pups.

Adding vitamins and minerals your dog is missing from her hunger fasts may help maintain its health, although you should not resort to replacing its meals with pills and powders. There are times where she will refuse to eat, and you can give her something that she will look forward to such as treats and mix the supplementation powder into it to ensure she remains healthy.

Although this may seem like a strange idea, you should consider feeding your dogs raspberry leaves. It seemed like a new supplement idea, but this is actually an old practice some successful dog breeders use. They will chop up the leaves and put it into their food for them to eat.

You might wonder at the effects of raspberry leaves. It is said that the leaves will help your dog with the contractions for delivery, and it enables it to keep up with the amount of contractions. If may not be 100% proven that it truly helps your dog, but there is no harm adding it to her diet. Raspberry leaves are available at most health food stores.

This video is a how to video on how to teach your dog to target an object with his front paws. This is not only a great game to teach your puppy or dog how to learn to learn, but it is the foundation for many behaviors and tricks. Tricks with this foundation include- wave, shake , high five, standing up, hands up, close the door, cop cop, say your prayers, descrimination, freestyle foot work and more. Take care with large breed dogs or dogs who have sharp toe nails as you can get slapped. Perhaps teach shake down the line when you have more experience as a trainer so that your large dog doesnt learn to paw at you as their favorite behavior. The great thing about the technique that I am using is that the dog isnt learning to paw at your skin, but at an object, so you can get that on stimulus control before it is just your arm (for very large and powerful dog breeds). You can also click them fore being gentle before you switch to using just your hand for shake.

As a child you probably remember instances where you did something good and were rewarded for the action – good behavior, good grades, etc.The basics for training your dog really is not that much different. Although a bit different than a child, the positives that your dog will appreciate are attention and praise as well as food. You will use these things to encourage your pet to repeat the positive actions that you approve of and can be one of the most powerful tools that you have when training your dog for good behavior.

Here is some basic information that will help you successfully use positive enforcement training. Firstly, timing is so important! You want to immediately reward your dog for the positive behavior – they have very short memories and attention spans. Secondly, consider using a clicker to mark these behaviors that you want to encourage – this is helpful for the dog to make the connection between the positive behavior and the resulting treat.

Keep your commands as short and simple as possible. If you have not ever owned a dog and have observed others and their dog training commands you may have wondered why the commands are so short and simple…well, you are talking about a dog and no matter how smart they are there are limitations to what an average dog can learn. The typical sit, stay, down, leave it – they are used so often because they work and dogs can easily be trained to know their meanings.

Lastly you need to remember that consistency is the key to successful dog training. When the dog does something good, make sure you reward, make sure everyone in the family does this too as well as having everyone use the same commands. Also, make sure you are not inadvertently rewarding for bad behavior, for example. Your dog barks and barks, louder and louder so you let him out. This is a perfect example of rewarding bad behavior; instead require him to perform a good behavior for you before opening the door. If you try to think like a dog now and then, you just might end up with the best behaved dog on the block.

However, no dog can do it cuter than Jesse on justjesse197 ’s youtube channel Other walking handstand inspirations are Hechiasia Zsianz1 Yolle555 If your dog can do a walking handstand that you clicker trained (not one where they are being punished) please post as a video response. I thought I would show the unfinished results as it it quite fun to see Splash figuring it all out. In my living room she is panting because in between the tricks she is getting to play with a balloon and run around the living room like a mad dog (this is her favorite reward in the world). ———- dog training clicker training canine freestyle handstand walking dogs tricks funny dogs using a conditioned reinforcer a secondary reinforcer to reward a new behavior amazing smart dog cool funny dog trick border collie that can walk on it’s two front feet

The one thing that every dog needs to know how to do is sit.Teaching a dog to sit is probably the easiest trick in the book. If you own a small puppy, it is going to be even easier. An older dog learning how to sit may take a bit more time, but it is possible. Dogs learn to sit by praise. You must first introduce them to what sitting is.
Gently place your hand over the top part of their bottoms and gently push down. Once you have gotten them into the sitting position, sternly and nicely say “sit”. Now, make sure that they have sat and give them a treat for praise. Love on them for a bit and then move on. Wait a while before doing it again because each time you do it, you will be rewarding them for it. You do not want to do it 5 times in a row and wind up having to give them 5 treats!
Using treats while training your dog to sit while help him or her learn a lot easier without too much confusion. He or she might think, “Okay I get it, so when I sit, I get a treat!” So in the beginning, while you are in training, give your dog a treat each and every time that they sit. Oftentimes at first, when you are training your dog to sit, they will exhibit confusion. This is very normal because sitting will be very new to them. Dogs favor routine, and once sitting becomes a part of their daily routine, it will be something that they truly enjoy doing for their owners when asked.
Young puppies are often the easiest to train when it comes to sitting, but this is only because they are so young. Sitting is a simple and easy command that can be taught to any dog. Older dogs may show a bit more confusion that the younger pups, but this is simply because they have gotten into much more of a routine. Do not think for a second that your older dog cannot learn how to sit because they still can. It is just going to take discipline on both the pet and the owner’s part.
If you are having a seemingly difficult time teaching your dog to sit, you may need to go to your nearest library and rent a book on your particular dog breed. Different dogs have different temperments combined with their own unique personalities. What is normal of one dog breed may not be so true for others. There are many things that will factor into whether your dog has an easy time learning how to sit, but most of it will be up to you.

The Beauceron is one of the most loyal dog breeds you will find and although they are guard dogs as heart they can make a great member to any family.br />
If you are looking for a watch dog or a guard dog you will find that the Beauceron is one of the best. They are highly intelligent, obedient, and fearless. It is considered a working dog so having one for a pet is not always the best. They tend to like tasks and other activities that will keep them busy mentally as well as physically. It should come as no surprise that they are also great for herding other animals. To establish a relationship with a Beauceron you need to establish a master versus subordinate relationship. The Beauceron loves to receive praise and please you as an owner.

Typically they choose just one person as the master over all. This doesn’t mean you can’t have them around little children, but you do need to take some precautions. First you will want to raise the Beauceron from a puppy if you are going to have it around children. They can be a little overzealous in energy sometimes, so small children tend to be a little wary, but the dogs will not be aggressive.

You will also find the Beauceron is great around dogs they know and have met before, but territorial instincts can override their sense when exposed to new dogs. Therefore socialization should begin as a puppy to help dissuade this behavior in a pet. As they are often guard dogs you should not be surprised if they show a little aggression towards unknown people or pets.

Part of owning a dog is understanding their care. You will find the Beauceron can have health problems related to hip dysplasia, and bloating, but for the most part they are one of the healthiest dogs. They tend to have a high amount of stamina as well. Grooming will be required periodically, but the coat does not shed much and a brush is sufficient to getting the dirt off. Again part of care is also exercise. You want to make sure you have a backyard that is sufficient to proper exercise and that they are given at least an hour a day for walking, playing and training. If you show the Beauceron proper care you should expect to have them in the family for over ten years. You will find they do well in moderate climates or even warmer climates. The cold can affect them a little, and they should be kept indoors during the colder storms.

Dog breeds are plentiful and you can always find a true breed for a dog breeder, but it is essential that you understand the dog breed you are interested in before going to the dog breeder. You want to have questions prepared and double check information. So you will find information regarding the Beauceron dog breed below to help you determine if they are the right dog for you.

The Beauceron dog breed is known by several names including Berger de Beauce, Bas Rouge, and Beauce Shepherd. They are a French breed of dog dating back to the fifteen hundreds as herders. These dogs are very athletic in build and temperament. You will find they enjoy being outdoors with plenty of room to run. You will also find they resemble Doberman Pinschers in their looks and body type. They often have the same black fur with the tan muzzle, ears, and paws. This dog can weigh up to 110 pounds with a height of 24 to 27 inches, which makes them a medium to larger sized dog.
